Alyson Hannigan &Â Dr. Patricia Gomez Dinger
Actress Alyson Hannigan is best known for her comedic roles in film and television, but for Alyson and her children, nasal allergies are no laughing matter. Though bothersome symptoms have affected her daily life, Alyson worked closely with her doctor to develop a treatment plan that works for her and her family.
For those that suffer through allergy symptoms each season, it’s time for an intervention! That’s why Alyson, in partnership with the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America (AAFA) and Teva Respiratory, is staging an Allergy Intervention in a new educational campaign and sweepstakes. Allergy Intervention: Because Allergies Aren’t Funny is a national campaign aimed at raising awareness of the seriousness of nasal allergies and encouraging allergy sufferers to be proactive in treating their symptoms each allergy season.
On Wednesday, April 20, in light of the current allergy season, Alyson and board-certified Allergist Dr. Patricia Gomez-Dinger will be available for media interviews to discuss nasal allergies, the importance of advance preparation, and why they are both involved in the Allergy Intervention: Because Allergies Aren’t Funny campaign. The campaign also features a sweepstakes, where two winners will be awarded an AAFA “Certified asthma & allergy friendly” Dyson vacuum.
