Col. Allen West:
‘Let us never forget some who ran to the sound of guns, while others ran to bed.’
(WASHINGTON, DC) – A coalition of 16 strategic partners and 12 national conservative leaders will join with Col. Allen West on Friday, August 30 to honor the four brave Americans who lost their lives during the September 11, 2012, terrorist attack in Benghazi, Libya, by embedding a royal blue “Twibbon” across their social media outlets. The coalition will encourage more leaders and partners to join and encourage their fans, members, and supporters, and other allies, to “Remember the Benghazi 4” by adding the Twibbon to their own social media pages. September 11 will mark the one-year anniversary of the deadly terrorist attack that took the lives of Amb. Christopher Stevens, Sean Smith, Glen Doherty, and Tyrone Woods.
According to the coalition, to this day, Congress and the media have failed to hold the Obama Administration fully accountable for its failures leading up to, during, and after this deadly assault. The administration’s perpetually-changing narrative deserves merciless scrutiny, and President Obama must be held accountable for what he has cynically dismissed as a “phony scandal.”
On behalf of the coalition, West said, “As we begin our march to honor the four Americans who lost their lives on 9/11/12 in Benghazi, let us never forget some who ran to the sound of guns, while others ran to bed.”
