Gary Sinise Honors Service Members Killed in Afghanistan With Emotional Tribute

Actor Gary Sinise, best known for his role as Lt. Dan Taylor in the 1994 movie FORREST GUMP, shared a video on Twitter in honor the United States service members killed and wounded in the recent suicide bombings in Afghanistan.

The actor, who is also the founder of the Gary Sinise Foundation, is passionate about the support and honoring of military personnel, first-responders and their families.

Sinise captioned the short clip on Twitter, “In honor of the lives lost today.”

In the video, Sinise lowered the US flag to half-staff.

“In honor of the 12 Marines [and] one Navy corpsman that we lost today in Afghanistan, the 15 wounded and everybody who is serving over in Afghanistan, God bless you,” Sinise said on Aug. 26. “We pray for you and your families. We pay tribute to all our fallen. We will never forget. Be safe. God bless all those serving and harm’s way. God bless our gold star families.”

Breaking News, Reviewing Year One Of The Biden Administration, Promises Made But Not Kept, And A Brief History Of Mob Violence

3 Very Independent and Compelling Hours of Experts, and Authors Pursuing The Truth No Matter Where It Leads

9:06-9:29a ET – Deroy Murdock – The previous administration could say with confidence, promises made, promises kept.  The Biden Administration, not so much. The Manhattan-based Fox News contributor, contributing editor of National Review Online reviews year one of the Biden presidency.

9:32-9:58a ET – Daniel Natal – Oligarchs have been fomenting mob violence for millennia. They usually tell people that the destabilization of society is for “social justice,” or “liberty”. They sell the idea that, if the people just oust the current power structure, then they will be free. In reality, freedom is never on the table. The business ethics teacher and a news analyst and commentator for the New American magazine discusses.

10:06-10:29a ET – James Hirsen – The bestselling author, media and legal analyst says The Heart of the Life Movement beats on.  The annual pro-life rally takes place during the same time period as the anniversary of Roe v. Wade, the nation-altering 1973 U.S. Supreme Court decision that legalized abortion throughout the country.

10:32-10:42a ET – Dr Sherry Walling – An estimated 17 million new small businesses will be launched in 20-22, and with that there will be plenty of both opportunities and excitement but potential stress for new business owners. Here to help is the nationally renowned psychologist who is teaming up with Intuit Quickbooks to share some new tools and inspiration through it’s ‘early starts’ program.

10:46-10:58a ET – Brenda Huerta – When it comes to parenting her adult children, the Focus on the Family counselor often asks, “When they leave my presence, how do they feel?” Are they better off for the time spent together?  Have I blessed them?  Parenting adult children can be a challenge, but it’s not impossible.  Join us as she shares some useful practical advice and tips.

11:06-11:29a ET – Dr Jerry Newcombe – ‘Free to Vote’ Should Not Mean ‘Free to Cheat’ says the Executive Director of the Providence Forum, an offshoot of the D James Kennedy Ministries breaks.

11:32-11:58a ET – Dr Gregory Jantz – Fentanyl overdoses on the rise, why?  And two years later, the effect of Covid fear, anxiety and depression on America and the world. The world-recognized expert and innovator in the treatment of behavioral disorders and addictions discusses.

DAN PERKINS COMMENTARY: Hillary Is Not Too Big To Fail Nor Is She Too Big Not To Go Jail

Commentary: Hillary Is Not Too Big To Fail Nor Is She Too Big Not To Go Jail I was watching the head of the FBI, James B. Comey, make his announcement about the e-mail investigation conducted by his agency of Hillary Clinton’s e-mail server. To say that many people were shocked at the outcome would be an understatement. The Director basically rewrote the law by inserting language that was not in the law, in order […]
